Privacy policy for Black and White Filter
Black and White Filter converts photos in the browser with the canvas API, so conversion files stay on the device during grayscale processing. This privacy policy explains what the site does and does not collect when visitors use the tool, Contact form, or public pages.
Privacy sits at the center of the product design. Local processing removes the need to upload stills for conversion, while Contact messages and optional analytics are handled separately from the image pipeline.
Keep photo conversion on the device
Black and White Filter processes uploaded stills locally in the visitor's browser during conversion. The service does not receive, store, or transmit photo bytes to a server for grayscale rendering, preset application, or PNG download generation, so privacy expectations stay plain before Contact is used.
Closing the tab clears the in-memory canvas copy. Downloads save to the visitor's device through the browser's normal save flow. Visitors who need server-side backups should store files themselves; Black and White Filter does not host user galleries.
Handle contact messages carefully
When a visitor submits the Contact form, Black and White Filter receives the name, email address, and message text so a reply is possible. That form data is separate from the converter and is used only to respond to the inquiry or related support follow-up.
Visitors should avoid pasting passwords or sensitive identity documents into the message field. Contact records are retained only as long as needed to complete the conversation and meet basic operational needs.
Describe analytics and technical logs
Black and White Filter may collect basic analytics about page visits, such as approximate traffic counts or referral paths, to understand which guides and tool features help visitors. Analytics focus on aggregated site use, not on the contents of private photos.
Hosting platforms may also generate standard technical logs (for example request timestamps or IP addresses) to keep the site secure and online. Those logs are not used to rebuild or inspect images converted in the browser.
Refuse sale of personal data
Black and White Filter does not sell personal data collected from Contact or optional analytics. Contact details and traffic signals are not traded as a product, and conversion images never enter a resale pipeline because they are not uploaded for processing.
Third-party fonts or infrastructure vendors may process limited technical data as needed to deliver the site. Visitors can limit optional analytics through browser controls where available.
Outline visitor choices and requests
Visitors control which photos enter the local converter and can stop at any time by leaving the page. For Contact data requests, corrections, or deletion questions, visitors can message Black and White Filter through the Contact page with enough detail to locate the submission.
Because conversion images never leave the device, there is no server-side photo archive to delete. Browser cache clearing on the visitor's side removes local temporary artifacts according to that browser's rules.
Update this privacy policy
Black and White Filter may update this privacy policy when features or legal requirements change. The current version lives on this page, and material updates should be read before continued use of Contact or related site services, so privacy expectations stay plain before Contact is used.
